Greater love has no man...

   When Jesus said "the Kingdom belongs to such as these..." I believe He was stating what the attitude of our hearts must be. Children don't assume, they don't prejudge, they merely wish to "belong", and be at peace...

Matt_19:14  But Jesus said, Suffer the little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for to such belongeth the kingdom of heaven.

   Those of you out there that have out of necessity or choice, have taken on the role as adoptive parents, can share in the joy the Father wished upon all of us! I say God bless'm! When you decide to rescue a child from abortion, an unwanted pregnancy, or a life of fear and hunger, you have received them in the name of the Son and the Father put His blessing is upon you...

Mark_9:37  Whosoever shall receive one of such little children in my name, receiveth me: and whosoever receiveth me, receiveth not me, but him that sent me.

   In many ways you are fulfilling Malachi's warning in the last verse of the Old Testament, Malachi 4:5,6, quoted here by Jesus.

Luke_1:17  And he shall go before his face in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to walk in the wisdom of the just; to make ready for the Lord a people prepared for him.

   Because a father's intention to raise a child along with his wife descends to the very depth of our being where the longing to rear a human being in the nurturing and admonition of the Lord resides, the deeply rooted emotions, anchored in our souls clearly out way any fleeting thought of burden...

John_15:13  Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

   This great joy, the grasping of a soul that will be raised in His love is an overwhelming meditation... and we have the rest of our lives to find out why...
