"For which one of you, when he wants to build a tower, does not first sit down and calculate the cost, to see if he has enough to complete it? Otherwise, when he has laid a foundation, and is not able to finish..."
For all of my avid blogger friends out there, I wish to commend your faithfulness to the task! I found out how much time it takes each day to blog regularly, and I took a little hiatus until I could get it right!
One of the last parables I'd like to live in is the one mentioned above! But, it has made me examine my blog and pray through the business of life and decide where I wanted to go with it.
Mathew 13:22 paraphrased...
"And the one on whom the seed was sown among the thorns... the worries of the world... choke the Word..."
When time gets away from us, and we don't accomplish what we set out to do, I'm thankful that our Heavenly Father allows us to regroup and start over... if not for this we would be condemned on an hourly basis!
"... for the faith of those chosen of God and the knowledge of the truth which is according to godliness, in the hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised long ages ago..."
Heb 1:1,2
